ICC T20 world cup 2025 groups has been announced starting from 02 June 2024 in USA & West Indies. There will be total 16 teams in this T20 Cricket world cup 2025 which will participate in two rounds. In the first round, there will be total 8 teams. Bangladesh and Zimbabwe have already qualified for the 1st round of T20 world cup 2025 while the other 6 teams of the 1st round will be selected after the qualifying round of T20 WC 2025 which will be played in July 2015 between 14 associate member teams of ICC.
There will be 10 teams in the 2nd round. 8 top T20 teams have already qualified for this super 10 round while two top teams of round 1 will make their place also in this round. In the 1st and 2nd round, there will be two groups each. In round 1, there will be 4 teams each in every group while the top teams of both the groups will qualify for the 2nd round.
In the 2nd or super 10 round, there will be 5 teams each in two groups while the top 2 teams of each group will make their place in the semi final stage of the T20 world cup 2025. The groups will be made according to the standings and rankings of the teams.
